I tried paper piecing just to see if I could even do it.

I didn't really think I'd like it but I do.

It's kind of fiddly and getting rid of all those paper bits can be a major drag but the perfectly matched corners and points are well worth it.

No matter what I do, I simply cannot gain that kind of precision with any other method.

I used to really love QAYG but not so much anymore since I can FMQ and have a cabinet. The cabinet really helps. I think FMQ and quilting an entire quilt is much easier with the flat surface and knowing the darn thing isn't going to tip over. 😄
