I have used Sullivan's for several years now and have not had a problem with a sticky needle, and I usually sew it the same day if it is a small quilt. The reason I wait on larger quilts because I usually have to re-arrange my work area before I can sew. Guess it really depends on how thick you spray it on. I usually do a quick spray over.
