I agree with Lynnie about splitting up the flying geese, although I could go either way with that. My preference would be to use your excellent leaf fabric for the border, if you have enough, and use something lighter between the blocks, maybe something that "reads as beige". I think an inner border would be good too, but I am not sure of what I think that should be.
You are doing beautifully so far, I'll bet that if you give it a rest for a day or so you will know what works best for you.
