Many thanks for your lovely comments
I've seen clearly that I have to look at my ugly cupboard with another eyes! Maybe it's not so bad, after all :-)
I especially like Margarita. ;-)
Thank you BluegrassGurl! It's really easy to make and the process was very, very fun.
very sterile....are you sure you sew in there? LOL...
Hahaha! Oh yes, I do. I kept it simple hoping this way it will be easier to keep clean!
I got all relaxed and warm fuzzy feeling during your tour...
I'm very happy to read this, thanks!
Loved your idea of the pincushion bowl.
I have a thing with pincushions. When I finish a quilt, I usually make at least one pincushion from the smallest leftovers (you know: those tiny bits that you feel bad to toss because they are beautiful, but they are too small to keep). Then you can save the pincushion for you as a little reminder of that special quilt you made, or you can gift it to someone.
You can also make a pincushion from a little orphan block... or from some scraps that you're using for testing/practicing a new technique. Pincushions are lovely, useful and fun to make, and they are great gift complements!
I thought I was alone with this fever, but one day I found this post

I keep looking for an excuse to buy the turquoise cart from Ikea...so far, I can't find a way to shoehorn it into my sewing room
The cart was specially useful for me before I had the sewing room. I've been quilting in my dining room table until now (continuously placing and removing things) and this cart makes the task easier. Now that I have my own table I don't need to do that, but I've quickly found another tasks that this little helper can do for me... and I'm sure you could also find what it can do for you; it's really versatile!
I see you live in Spain. Do you have an Ikea there?
Yes, we have several Ikea shops. My home is one hour from Valencia, so I usually go there.
I will update the post when I have some news. Thanks again to everyone
