Well I just made some yesterday and they were delicious. You'll have to look up the conversions.

250g Plain Flour
4tsp of baking powder
Pinch of salt
50g butter
50g caster sugar
50g of fruit I usually use dried but have used fresh apples and blueberries.
1 egg mixed with milk to 140ml.

Put flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl, add cubed butter and rub in. When mixture resembles bread crumbs add in sugar and fruit. Mix well with hands. Add enough egg mixture to bind together into a dough, not too wet. Roll out to about 1/2". I cut mine into rounds about 2inch. Place on greased tray brush tops with remainder of egg mixture and put into hot oven 200c for between 8 -10 minutes. Enjoy.
