My hands are 6.75in from base to fingertip and I wanted a close fit so I got the S/M and they're still a tiny bit loose on me. If you aren't in a hurry for them, the price fluctuates on Amazon. Bought my first pair last week for $8.63 and the next day, bought my second pair for $5.47. (Hope it's ok that I say this?) Obviously if they're on sale at Joann's, that's a better price too!
