Somewhere on her site, Eleanor Burns has directions on how to change a "farm" style kitchen table into a sewing table. It's not as big as you were asking, but I love mine. You can cut down the legs of the table to the right height for you.
I was going to suggest checking Craigslist or yard/estate sales for a big farm or dining room table and adjusting it to your height. I have an office desk that I've done this with, and I made a drop-in for my sewing machine. It was pretty easy.
