I did what you suggested with the top tension, made new quilt sandwich and tested. Wow! Did feathers, swirls etc. No thread shredding and no skipped stitches. Yea!! I have a quilt I need to get quilted for the fair and was ready to get the Singer out. Now will use Juki as my reason to get it in the first place was the bigger throat. All you guys here rock
