The only difference is that you stop 1/4" from the edge then you stitch off to the corner. That helps you get a better straighter fold. Then when finished stitching, you take those diagonal stitches out and cut off the "bunny ear". Quilters at one of my group were amazed at how flat my binding corners were. I am handing stitching binding to the back.
