Default My flea market table runner

Some of you asked me if there was batting and a binding on my vintage table runner. So here are a couple pictures of the back. I just used some old print that I had and I used Hobbs 80/20 batting. It's very thin. I thought since it was a table runner, it needed to Lay thin and flat. After it was quilted, I straight stitched all around the perimeter just inside the natural binding of the piece. Then I trimmed close to that stitching. Worked great. Hope I'm making sense!
Thanks for all the nice compliments. I love bringing vintage tablecloths, runners, etc. back to life. It makes antiquing much more fun! I have a quest!
