I modified a foot for my older Bernina since it is no longer under warranty. Westalee makes a foot to use with Berninas but I think it voids your warranty if you use a non Bernina foot. Bernina is supposed to be coming out with a ruler foot for their machines that go on a frame but not for domestic machine yet. The problem with using a foot with a higher edge is you must always remember to have the foot down or the needle is not able to go down properly and you will hit your bobbin case.
