For my Jane Stickle I did the MSQC method. Make sure you have made bias binding - there are many methods of making it continuous so you don't have to join while applying it. I did not have a special tool of any kind, the quilt allowed for each scallop to be the width of one block and a saucer helped to mark the amount of curve.

The sewing method of pulling the binding and edge of quilt straight as you sew the binding on really makes it easy and is shown on the latter half of the video. I had never done one before but found this very easy! I did nick slightly the seam allowance where the "valleys" are which allows for the straightening of the edge. There are quite a few tutorials on the internet! Go for it and good luck!
