There are 5 inch squares, cross hatched in both directions. Of course, the diagonal of the square is larger than 5 inches. I was considering adding a tie to the middle of these blocks where the X is--I can do that while I'm watching TV
. I think I'm going to think about what I'm going to do! More work to cross hatch (I've already sewn on the bindings), or add the perle cotton ties?? Ponder, ponder!
