So my first attempt doesn't look so good!
But I'm ready to start fresh this morning. Trying something new at night was probably not my best move! Here's a picture of my first rows:

The row on top was the first row I tried. Suggestions to make this stitch look better? (When I tested it on just 2 layers of fabric to make sure the walking foot worked, no batting, the stitch was beautiful!) I was using Gutterman cotton thread and a 75/11 quilting needle on my Brother 270D.
