I went looking through my EQ7 block library and didn't find a granny square block that resembled what I think you want, so I drew it in a 6 inch block. It wasn't hard at all. This is the rotary cutting instructions for a 6 inch finished block.

I played with the printing instructions and if you were to be satisfied with a 6.5 inch finished block, all your squares could be cut at 2 inches. This would let you use jelly rolls if you want to.
