If I were to start all over again, I would spend more money and go to Fabric shop purchase a paper piecing baby quilt kit which lines are printed on batting simple instructions, and just sew on the lines.. Take a class for beginners, take in tuturials on you tube from Eleanor burns, Missouri quilt star company, or fat quarter shop all very good and easy.. Good luck! What may seem beginner to me, might be hard for another person, don't measure on others measure your progress..
