I cut patterns out of quilting magazines and we know the prices there.....have purchased dozens of books, none more than $25....and once in a great while a pattern packet from a quilt store. If I'm interested in the pattern and want to make it correctly without banging my head against the wall and crying, then I invest in the pattern. Saves me from trips to the emergency room for concussions!!
