I, too, sewed for many years, even making my wedding dress 39 years ago. I hoped to be able to sew for little girls, but alas, the Lord saw fit to give me boys, so my sewing ended. I started quilting when I retired from teaching a few years ago, although I have done very little in the past couple of years because of surgeries and other health issues.
