I use Superior Sew Sassy thread size 8 for big stitching. The whole set of colors ($279.30) were on sale for $65 not long ago. I posted the sale but got pms saying it was too thick to piece with,
well yeah, it is for big stitching, redwork, hand embroidery and embellishing.
