Very pretty quilt! Love churn dash and shoo fly. Nothing wrong with straight line quilting... I do a lot of it myself. You don't always have to stitch in the ditch... you can use your seam as a guide for the machine's foot and sew 1/4" inside or outside the seams... or both! Just be prepared to turn and turn and turn the quilt as you go.
