I just started putting green sawtooth stars together. It's making a nice cheerful quilt. Here's a closeup. The distant photos don't show the colors as well.

One thing I've noticed with this monochromatic quilt is that sometimes even monochromatic colors can clash. I attempted to put yellowy-greens into a quilt with blue-greens and it just got too busy. It's possible that if the values were the same for each shade of green it would work, but with light and dark values all over the place it's better to stay on one end of the spectrum of a given color.
