I made one with 99 4" blocks, and made it very personal. My favorite things, like a paper-pieced running shoe, an apple, a block with my state, two different cat blocks, blocks to represent the four seasons, a book, a library. There was a Double T block, because both my father and my son have names that end with double t. And so on. It was a true sampler, with different techniques. Even the number of blocks was intentional. I just named it Dear Jenn.
