Even groups used to crochet plastic bags into totes, however, most all plastic bags are now made to disintegrate and the bags deteriorate so fast, it's not worth one's time, at least not mine. I used to make the most beautiful wreaths out of plastic sandwich bags. Stored the ornamental items of the seasons and used one wreath continually four years. The second wreath I made, didn't last 9 months until it began falling apart on the door, plastic flakes everywhere.
