If it runs (and it almost surely will!) you got a great deal. As for servicing, take it to the Bernina guy if he has been in the business for a long time. If he has only service machines since the fully electronic ones came in, you can get just as good of service from a good "old sewing machine guy". This machine is a strictly mechanical one. Enjoy it!
