My grandson, 6 years old, loves Halloween. Not the really scary stuff, but the ghost and jack-o-lanterns, etc. So he asked if I would make him a halloween quilt. He asked me this about 2 weeks before Halloween and I told him I would not be able to get it done in time. He said he liked Halloween any time of the year. He picked out most of the fabric pieces and watch much of my progress. I didn't have it quilted by Christmas, but the top was pieced. He begged me to let him take it home. He said "Grandma, I love it just the way it is!" but I said, "no' to him (probably the first time ever!) and explained that it would get stretched and come apart if he took it before it was quilted. So, he let me keep it to finish it about a week later, and here it is!

I said "let's see your face!"

And now he's playing around! I think he likes it!
