😉, it was a lot of sewing, but really didn't take that long once I got started. I did use a small blanket stitch and used navy thread on the blues and white on the whites. I think I had it down to about 20 minutes per block after the first couple when I got into a rhythm. I actually used scraps for this-- the blue was a dark mottled blue from a wide quilt back trimmed away from a previous finish. The whites were just left over whites, what ever was big enough and white enough. The background & backing white is a bleached premium muslin. Everything from my stash, I didn't have to buy anything for this quilt ( except white thread when I went to quilt it-- my hubby said to me..." You call yourself a quilter & you don't have any white thread?!? Just what kind of quilter are you anyway? 😜
