Joan, come here when the real world gets to be too much. That's what I do. It's one of my happy places, an escape avenue from real life. I like that we are focused on fun, and quilting, and personal stories and camaraderie. I like that our biggest problems here are how we make that blasted piece of fabric measure up to 12 1/2 inches so we don't have to hear from Janice about it again and is this piece of fabric white or snow? Or this one teal or aqua? Shall I join one group or two? And I like to wonder, just how is it that an ugly grey fabric can turn it into a beautiful block? And how do all those little hexies go together? And should I join the postcard swap? And then my bad thoughts are as simple as And what am I going to do with all those Boom blocks I have? Am I a Boom'aholic? These are the tough things we have to deal with here. I like it better than out there by far.

THANK GOD I have the whole weekend to do whatever I want to do...nothing if I choose not to do anything!! SO happy you get to join Jaba...I think you have been in every one of the 11 swaps Ive been in. Just thinking of that cheered me up a little bit!
