Born and raised in Minnesota and we refer to tornados by the city and the year...Fridley tornado of '65, Har Mar tornado of '81, St. Anthony tornado of '84. I was impacted by these three especially. Luckily only property damage, but horrible to see all the losses. We are always prepared...we have a shelter built under/behind the basement stairs.
