I just got a new to me treadle which came with a tin box labeled 'Attachments' on top. Probably most of us old, old sewing machine lovers recognize those boxes. 'Old' as in old sewing machines...not us ladies! It is filled with Greist attachments. I know all the others in the box but this thing is a puzzle to me. Pretty cool shaped little item but what the heck is it?
My machine is an Improved New Companion from (I'm totally guessing) 1910???? Just got the girl home last night. A good cleaning and beautification is in her future then it's back to work she goes. I'm so excited! I will be posting before and after pictures.
