I haven't purchased any kits here in Canada as I have collected so I can sub in any colour scheme if and when I choose.... that said.... I have probably purchased enough fabric along the way to make at least 3 huge quilts.....
I love to see what everyone is collecting and why and how they are putting things together.... For me... I put rows from our travels that appeal to me in my quilt.... in colours that I think are fun. This year I purchased a meter of the Row by Row house fabric and have been trying to collect fabrics to coordinate with that.
Edited to add.... I was in a shop in Oahu with 2 of my nieces when the news of Elvis' death was announced.... they were under the age of 13 at the time... and when I got kind of teary... they said "who is Elvis" ?
