I spent a lovely chilly Sunday afternoon finishing the top of my 'happy' quilt
This is the first quilt I ever started so I chose an easy railfence pattern with sashing and corner stones. I was going through a bit of a rough patch in my life and I wanted something really bright and happy to wrap myself in so I went out and chose the brightest colours I could find! The fabric is Shweshwe from Da Gama Fabrics and I am loving it! As it's winter here in South Africa, I need to get it finished soon so I can cuddle up under my happy quilt. Can't wait!
