Well, Mary, I've lived here since I was 13 (back in the early70's), and yes, it was quite a shock coming from Pennsylvania. However, back then it did not get quite this hot for this long. Now, because of the population buildup, we have "heat islands" which inhibits the cooling at night, and sometimes keeps the monsoon storms from coming in. I'm used to it, but most of us do our business as early as possible in the morning, and hibernate inside with the A/C running during the hot part of the day. I have a mister system that I turn on for my outdoors kitties when it gets this hot, it keeps them from overheating too.
I am looking forward to September, when the days start to get a little shorter, which means less time for the sun to heat up to those 110+ days!

Pat it's about 90 now at 7:30 pm. I don't know how people live in the heat in Arizona etc. We've been in the mid 90's and humid. Suppose to be a cold front after tomorrow only gonna be around 90. Have a good weekend and stay cool everyone.
