They are finishing up at 12" I have adjusted as much as I think I can for the 1/4" and even leave a few extra so that is is a scant 1/4" I am getting so frustrated . The only thing I can think of is that if you are using a pattern, measure each piece and then add the 1/2" for both seam allowances.
