You might need to go to 'last known good date' and 'restore' your computer to that point to get rid of it. If you go to 'restore' options - wherever that may be on your computer and pick either yesterday or the day before (the day prior to trying update Adobe), you should be fine. You may lose anything you had saved AFTER that point. If there was something critical that you did after the Adobe update, save that individual file to a thumb drive.
