A very long time ago a scrap pattern for this pattern was in a magazine. I made myself a plexiglass template to cut my scraps. It went together quick because you are using only one pattern piece. Have not seen the quilt in a while, wonder where I put it, it was used all the time.
You could make the pattern template any size you would like, mine was smaller than suggested. I used light scraps in place of the one background shown.
