How about turning them? on point? then you would only have to get at most, the middle row of 5 to match pretty well. Or even just turning all of the blocks going in different directions. Neither of these suggestions may work out...but ya won't know if you don't try
I'd say play around with the lay out unless you just have to have them straight in rows.
