Teri, about half of mine were kits because they required special fabrics that were in the kit. It really is fun to have a kit and not have to hunt for the perfect fabric. It sure makes it expensive, tho.
One of my favorite parts of the process was quilting each row by itself, and bringing it to "life". Can't wait to make more. I'm going to make some of last year's rows that friends are sending to me.
