Default Wheeler & Wilson- help please

I saw an antique Wheeler & Wilson today at a yard sale for $60. I know very little about antique machines. This would be my first treadle. The wheel turns easily and the needle moves up and down. Most of the gold paint is worn off. What is left of the paint is very faint. The chrome is in pretty good shape. The metal bobbin cover plate thingy reads
WHEELER&WILSON M'F'G Co
BRIDGEPORT CONN.
D-9
PATENTED
MAY 1st 83 JUL 17th 88
OCT.23rd 83 MAR.25th90
DEC.2nd84 AUG.2nd92
AUG.18th85
No 2417381

I have lots of questions about this machine. For starters, is it easy to get needles for this machine? Where do can you buy the needles? Is it worth $60? I was able to take a couple of pictures but I cant get the photos off of my phone except in the form of email. I'm not computer savvy to say the least. Any help would be great.
