There is a kit called Flannel Brick Road (Pattern in one of their magazines), shown in an email the last few weeks from Fons & Porter. It consists of rectangles sewn together in strips, short end to end, then next strip is sewn with seams in middle of prior blocks. There is also the "Race" quilt every talks about that you sew long strips together until you get the size you want. Sorry, can't remember correct name of it, but someone here knows and will direct you.
