I have 4 identical alphabet panels and the chenille cutting tool. Have looked, but haven't found a good tutorial on this. I do have a pattern, but advice here is always the best! Here are my questions:

1) can I use a Minky type backing instead of batting and regular backing?

2) if I want to make the quilt bigger than just the panel can I add borders to chenille also?

3) would I use 4 layers for the borders and stop the chenille cutting tool at the seam line and begin again on the other side of the seam line?

I hope these questions are understandable- thanks for any answers, advice, and pictures of your chenille quilts!
