Hello from Colorado
Newbie introducing herself!
I'm excited to join this group of quilters! I've loved quilts for years and have made about 6 of them. However, in January I finished my master's degree (I'm a teacher) and need an outlet for all the spare time I had all of a sudden. I decided to dust off my sewing machine and get back into it. After making a few skirts and tops, I went through my stash of quilting fabrics and decided to make a quilt for DH and my bed. I've made most of my previous quilts for babies (my own) and twin beds. I just really wanted to make a quilt for me with colors I loved and enjoy it on our bed. Of course we have a king-sized bed! I've finished 97% of the top. I'm looking forward to getting it done! I really enjoy garment sewing too.
