It's been a little while since Sydney and I have been able to have our sewing times. Today she finished a new quilt top for her new second cousin, Lydia. She chose the pattern, drew it out, measured (I cut), and put it on the design board and today she sewed her little heart out. She made a pillow to match. Maybe tomorrow we can back the quilt and I'll show her how to tie it. She's not quite ready with hand stitching to do any quilting, but we will get there.
