Ptquilts, It's clear to see what these websites are up to, but I never knew there was a name for it. I boycott Facebook, so I don't know much about how they do things there. Thanks for enlightening me.

I would agree with Jan. Maniacquilter' life stories are fascinating! I love hearing about it.

Carolynjo, My daughter went through a very conflicted time in her life. She reads a lot, and she read many self-help books. Many of them were books related to Buddism. I read some of them too, and I have to say that I was impressed with their principles. It is a very harmonious, kind, leave the world a better place, sort of religion. My daughter has one tatoo--the symbol for mind, body and spirit. I think it's called "the trinity."

purplefiend, I love hearing stories like this. It validates things the things I believe. It also gave me chills. Right before my mother-in-law passed, she began talking to her mother as though she was standing by her bed.
