I have a lilac print that is so beautiful. I was always wanting to use it, but then couldn't find the right thing to fit it into. I would get it down and not use it time and again. Then I made my oldest granddaughter's quilt in pinks and purples. It called out loud and clear--"USE ME". So it is within the body and also is a border which was a perfect fit and really shows off the quilt.
Moral of story--when you find the perfect pattern and color combinations, that fabric will call out to you.
