I would think that is a good price. I bought my Janome 6600 used and paid $1000.00. I bought it from our LQS where they service it completely before selling it. I felt it was better for me to have someone close in case I had any trouble with the machine. I love, love, love my Janome 6600. Hopefully, you can get a cord and foot pedal within your budget.
