dd just stated this as we were watching olympics....she heard some commentator mention that the women in the gymnastic category can only compete in two olympics. If that's true I wonder why. You can only have two members competing in the overall individual performance which is why we only had Simone Biles and Aly Raisman competing for the over all performance with Simone taking gold and Aly taking silver. Only the top sixteen gymnasts get to compete but because you can only send two Gabbie who place third after the first day could not go on.
