I was thinking about doing something similar but maybe making it a bit larger than 1/2 size. What size did yours finish out at? I was thinking about making mine 9 blocks across & 11 blocks down by eliminating the last 3 bottom rows of blocks & the last 3 right side column of blocks. I know that would change the look of the criss-crossing a bit but it still should look good. How many did you use across & down?
My quilt is 8 blocks x 10 blocks. I just turned the pattern on its side to assemble my quilt top, so my quilt is only as long as the pattern is wide. I believe the final size of my quilt is 62" x 74"
