I am studying the pic beckybryan posted.....trying to figure out if there is a way to construct this with the minimum of chaos......my eye first hits the "trails", which seem to be the tiniest ones to make. So here's my thought: using a lite (ex. White) with other tonals or solids, making those 4 patches in sets of four...a bunch! Either in stratas or cut squares. Join them to the "rest of their components to make the larger block. Then proceed to making the other blocks - groups of one kind at a time, ..hmmmmm.
