The six year old really wants to learn to sew, but if I try to teach her anything, her mother sends the little one to 'watch' what we are doing and at that point I am babysitting instead of instructing. If mom would join us, instead of being stuck to her cell phone, it would not be such a problem to deal with both at once. {sorry, stepping off my soapbox now...}
Wait! Are we sharing my DIL??? LOL! But I do feel your frustration!
