To my great astonishment and joy, my Kimono Rose Couture quilt won a blue ribbon in the Amateur Mixed Large category at our guild's quilt show. I am beyond happy!! And to think I was in tears over this quilt just last week!!! It was worth it!!! Hope you like it! It came from the Fons & Porter magazine last year, and I used the Moda Urban Couture fabrics, plus a couple of others I added for the rose appliques. This is my first machine applique (I posted those pics previously), and I pieced the little fans instead of doing them one solid piece as in the pattern. I really love how it came out.
